Since the beginning of the race we have been asked to conduct research through the web, and in this post I will tell you what are my main search tools. When I arrived at the university I thought that the search engine that would solve everything was Google, but it is not, the demand made me find new search engines, more efficient and reliable, with more up-to-date and accurate information. Although Google is still a good tool, I no longer use normal Google, I use the schoolar version, for the initial investigations, and familiarize myself with what they have asked for. After this, the pages I use the most are scielo and pubmed, when it comes to research on specific topics of biology or the dental field. And on the other hand, Journal of Dental Research and the IADR website, for more focused research in the dental area. I found these pages by recommendations of teachers and friends.
